GRANT OF RIGHTS – MINOR PARTICIPANT

FOR PARTICIPANTS YOUNGER THAN 18 YEARS OF AGE
THIS SEPARATE PARENTAL CONSENT, GRANT OF RIGHTS MUST BE PRINTED, SIGNED, AND EMAILED BY THE PARENT TO: INFO@EBASS.CO.ZA

I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian of the minor participant named below (the “Minor”), hereby acknowledge and agree as follows:

1. Grant of Permission
   I irrevocably grant to the Electronic Bass Anglers Sports Society (EBASS), Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA), and any other federation, body, sponsor, agent, affiliate or subsidiary with which EBASS is associated (collectively, the “EBASS Parties”), the full and unrestricted right to record, reproduce, display, exhibit, publish, broadcast, distribute and otherwise lawfully use the Minor’s name, image, likeness, nickname, initials, photograph, voice, statements, videos or other representations of the Minor’s identity (collectively, the “Identity”) in any media or format whatsoever, including but not limited to print, video, websites owned or controlled by EBASS, third-party websites, social media platforms, public relations material and other promotional or commercial material (collectively, the “Materials”).
   Such use shall be in connection with the promotion, publicity, or lawful exploitation of EBASS, the EBASS NATIONALS 2025 Tournament, and any other tournaments or events staged, sanctioned, or supported by EBASS.
   I undertake to ensure that the Minor complies fully with all filming arrangements, camera placements, media requirements, and related rules, guidelines, and instructions issued by EBASS during tournaments.


2. Warranties and Third-Party Rights
   I warrant that I have the full legal authority to grant the rights contained herein on behalf of the Minor, and that such grant does not and shall not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
   Where applicable, I further represent and warrant that I have obtained, or shall obtain, all necessary permissions, consents or licences from any third parties with whom the Minor is affiliated or sponsored (collectively, “Third Party Rights”) to allow EBASS to use any third-party logos, insignia, trade dress, trademarks or other intellectual property (collectively, “Third Party IP”) appearing in the Materials in conjunction with the Minor’s Identity.
   To the extent that such Third Party IP is incidentally included in the Materials (for example, logos appearing on apparel worn by the Minor or on items used by the Minor), EBASS shall not be required to obtain separate approvals from such third parties.


3. Waiver of Rights and Compensation
   I acknowledge and agree that:
   
   • EBASS is under no obligation to use the Materials or the Minor’s Identity;
   • I waive any right to inspect, review, or approve the Materials or the use thereof;
   • Neither I nor the Minor shall be entitled to any payment, compensation, or consideration of any nature in respect of EBASS’s use of the Materials or the Minor’s Identity;
   • EBASS shall not be liable to me or the Minor for any distortion, illusionary effect, or other modification of the Materials or the Minor’s Identity, provided that such use remains lawful.


4. Consent
   I expressly consent to the Minor’s participation in the EBASS NATIONALS 2025 Tournament and to the use of the Minor’s Identity as set forth herein.
